I'll think about it, but it won't be in the next version yet. Isnt it more effective to make players kickable all the time then to get better and better algorithms? There are so many ways to damage your team, and YES people who are pissed trying at least their best to ruin a game instead of just leaving. Ofcorse people will start useless kickvotes against people who does not deserve it but you only do no vote against this people and its fine! Imho please!, isnt it better to be able to kick retards fu**ing up a game then letting an "algorithm" decide if hes doing something wrong? RE: How should the kicksystem work? - gozo1985 - 2013-08-15 i guess many here played BT long enough to know there where more people ruining a game who are not kickable then players got kicked for "strange" or no reason. and i talk about ranked games not stupid qualify games where many people act like freaks RE: How should the kicksystem work? - RaptorXI - 2013-08-16 Or make it easier to kick someone and introduce a -no vote again... RE: How should the kicksystem work? - griffin1987 - 2013-08-23 Continuing from http://btanks.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=3972&pid=39271#pid39271 as I was told by Prog that this topic is the same as the other one and started by me (no it wasn't, but never mind): - With 7 votes this poll is practically useless. 7 People isn't even one full game. - Going by usernames/btanks accounts, most of the people active in here have played way more games in the past than they do nowadays, and many have been part of a btanks clan and played private games. That contrasts with the fact that for quite some time now there are way more qualify games running than ranked ones, and I dare say (even though I can't know for sure of course) that there are more people playing qualify than anything else (e.g. ranked, privated games, etc). Continuing on this train of thought, I think that people argumenting in here should first play at least 10 qualify games (and no, if you did so 2 years ago it does not count) to be able to talk about the "majority of players". Anyway, I'm currently playing about 20-30 games a week, of which at least 15 are qualify, and not being able to kick someone ruins at least 1 of 3 games, on bad days it's 3 of 3 (like yesterday). - I've already started uploading replays to show how the kick system constantly fails. Of course, instead of watching the replay or discussing the situation, an admin just closed the thread. Yay. For those of you who prefer the current solution, I suggest doing the same (uploading replays, pointing out the important parts) with counter-examples, e.g. a game where it would have been bad if someone was kickable (including the posted possibility of the enemy being able to vote). - As the other thread has been closed, I will upload replays here instead to prove my point. I'll try to point out the important stuff as concise and exact as possible, so you would not have to waste your time viewing uninteresting parts of the game. Cheers |
