but the spells are awesome!

Yeah i don't think the model works for the BT theme, it is more of a Warhammer40k tank.

If i find a good looking tank i'll post it, also i have many more spells that i made, i just don't have them on any tank to show you at this time.

Here is what i call ion control, it is a bit big but you can remove many of the beams.

Re: New Tanks - Scelle - 2010-05-04

this ion-Control... looks lieke the Ion-Canon from Command&Conquer... But it looks interesting.

Re: New Tanks - Saiyuki - 2010-05-04

as mentioned before, the model doesn't quite fit in the map. and the effects are way too huge... twice this skill effect could blow some low cpu's. xD

hint: just browse the map a bit and you may already find something good. ^^

Not sure what your talking about, are you hinting to orbital??

Here is CPU friendly single ion beam.

Re: New Tanks - Saiyuki - 2010-05-05

nope, i wasn't hinting at the effect. ;-)

Re: New Tanks - superslang - 2010-05-08

somekind of a psycho tank that can hypnotise enemy units or even enemy players to attack teammates for short time

Re: New Tanks - RaptorXI - 2010-05-09

Sorry, but isn't the game polluted enough with air tanks already?

Re: New Tanks - RaptorXI - 2010-05-09

I mean the estimated 50-70% Airships in mid game and the overpowered Sky Fortress.

Re: New Tanks - RaptorXI - 2010-05-09

Not to mention the start tanks heli and medi, which can be played until whatever you like to buy. For example medi => Titan.

Re: New Tanks - k-bones - 2010-05-11

Finally, I see someone with a clear view.

@topic - a new 15k tank would be nice, perhaps with lower than normal armor reqs.

Yes, i agree. Today all choose Frost Robot, need someone more for variety.

If you have the patience and a good teamplay, you can shoose also the sky fortress which costs "only" a few 1000 Gold more. Both is a nice combination, but most players think "uh, he got frosty, so it must the MOST COOLEST thing on earth, I must get one, too.".

So the fail lies - as often - at the user, not at the mapSmile

Re: New Tanks - hrafn - 2010-05-11

An idea of a new tank...
Model: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/dwarven-rail-tank-133334/?prev=t%3D1%26r%3D20%26d%3Dlist%26page%3D14

AA Missiles, stun rockets, send out rockets and stun the target.
Sticky persecution, when you get chased it sends out a mess that slowing down those who are behind.
Mortars, passive skill thats only attacks buildings.

Re: New Tanks - Velocity2k - 2010-05-11

The model filesize is more than 300 kB which is quite large compared to the current mapsize.

 what a funny thing

Re: New Tanks - superslang - 2010-05-13

what do you think about tank upgrades? maybe change the tank bigger(more visual armor or weapons) and give more hp , armor , speed
example: heavy tank upgrade +2.5k hp +4 armor +50 speed and inc abilities dmg or dec. cd , cost 5k? = mammoth tank?
