Any Strategies to get SuperCell or Swarm? - scron2 - 2011-02-13
Hi
I have played several btanks league games and have found that I never can get either SuperCell or Swarm of Chaos. I was just wondering if anyone has a strategy to get either of these weapons and if they do, would they post it and what to do for each 5 minute "phase" of the game?
What tank should I get, what weapons to start, which tanks/hulls to transition to and do I have to last hit alot of towers? How many heros do I have to kill to compensate for the fact that only so much gold exists in the game? Should I go air for the mobility?
Also mathematically I am interested in how soon it is at all possible, assuming normal tank transitions and "adequete weaponry". Given maybe 1.5 hero kills per 10 minutes.
I find that roughly you get about 1k every 5 mins but around 20-25 mins you are saving for a tank mostly. So this leaves the bounties of the creeps beyond this point so if I get supercell I have to get a hull with an intermediate level tank like say sky tank or hunter. So 30K directly from income only would take another 30 income rounds without anything else. Assuming 3K is farmable per 5 minute interval which is pretty hardcore farming.... I suppose it would take an additional 10 minutes but a lower bound of 1/2 of that is probably more realistic, disregarding deaths. So at about 45 minutes I can maybe get a supercell but in the meantime... I could get lazers and stuff that DPS and fill slots alot more nicely than the huge gold cost item.
Long story short.... why are SuperCell, Swarm of Chaos, Frost Lazer, Psycho Lazer even in the game if you have to play for about a minimum of 1 hour to even come close to getting one (and even then you shouldn't since Titan is more useful to spend gold on)... As we have noticed in many of the pro tournament games none of these are gotten generally and if they are ...it's because pros are not playing on both sides. xD

get feeded in the endgame. 8)
edit: for myself, i never play a straight strategy... it always depents on the game, what tanks-weaps got your opponents what your teamm8s etc.
but for supercell as example: heli with plasma or electro cannon(little or steel hull), save heavy or skytank - Psychomagic (maybe get a GH) - save Fortress or if its possible (but not really helpfull for the team) straight for the supercell and then a Fortress.
or: save for an early frost with 1k range weaps, get feeded and try save for the supercell. hm ; /
But how u already said, in generell are early stronger tanks more effectiv then weapons... so
wont help u much how u wish but better then nothing
