Suggestion: individualized weapons - stupidnoob - 2009-04-01 Since there is a fixed weapon formula and bonuses would it be possible to create a shop, were player can design and buy a weapon? So in the shop one selects range, type(normal, creep,...),shots fired, damage and cooldown and has to pay a price according to formula, with some limits(e.g. range between 555 and 1300, with more than 1050 range not "only building", price between 1100 and 42000,...). It would have to be switched on by host and maybe carry an extra price(All those weapons would likely have same icon and attack animation, making it for the enemy harder to keep track of what weapons are firing at him). Re: Suggestion: individualized weapons - cyberrabies - 2009-04-01 great idea, but to hard to impliment Re: Suggestion: individualized weapons - cedi - 2009-04-01 Nearly impossible to create with Phönix Fire. Because you need for each combination a new ability. That means, something around 100 abilitys. And for each ability one weapon... cedi Re: Suggestion: individualized weapons - SCorpA1 - 2009-04-01 bt would lose uniqueness of its weapons with this feature. this is not a custom ero line wars or custom hero arena or somethin like that Re: Suggestion: individualized weapons - Dr.McNinja - 2009-04-02 There is no a 'fixed weapon forumla' but weapons do follow a 'guide' to be balanced. The only way i see a custom weapon working in BT is: - Crazy triggers - Lots of work - Tank skill - Special Multi-level upgrade weapon or; - Weapon that works like a tank skill As cedi said, its nearly impossible. Instead of custom weapons, how about user-created weapons? http://forum.btanks.net/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=2031 |
