a better indication for control points - aHei - 2008-09-05 Hello, I'm new to this game since yesterday and I LOVE it. I would like to know if you could indicate the control points with a different colour on the mini-map. It should not be to hard to change right? This makes it much easier for noobs, and for me to explain to my friends who are new to the game. Thanks! Re: a better indication for control points - AntiLEGION - 2008-09-05 But if a control point is from the Dark Force the control point is in brown (color of the force) and if the control point changes his owner the control point is in green (color of the Light Force). Re: a better indication for control points - k-bones - 2008-09-06 He means that they should have a different icon on the map, not like the other buildings. I totally agree on that. Re: a better indication for control points - DerSatan - 2008-09-06 might be a nice idea since control points are very important in the game. and since -rc was introduced, it became less important to aim for control points through the minimap. Re: a better indication for control points - TKF - 2008-09-06 If you give them gold mine ability, they appear as big yellow dots, but then you can't see the difference in ownerships... Re: a better indication for control points - k-bones - 2008-09-07 Maybe you could place a gold-mine dummy there, and it would be still visible as the building icon is smaller? Re: a better indication for control points - DerSatan - 2008-09-07 maybe just place some small invisible, undetectable units without collsion size around it which change their ownership together with the control point. the dot on the minimap then is just a bit bigger than it is now. |
