Junkyard for sold tanks - GooglyBoogly - 2010-01-01 This suggestion is just like the title says. Add a secondary market for sold tanks that works like the junkyard. (buyer gets 25% off, seller gets 25% refund) If an ally sells their heavy tank, you can buy one for 25% off, and your ally gets the other 25%. This would also mean that players can switch between tanks without losing any gold (I.E airship -> heavy tank -> airship) Ideally, the tank merchants would list which tanks are in stock, so you wouldn't have to go to a new vendor Re: Junkyard for sold tanks - Althend - 2010-01-01 I voted yes but it should involve some loss of money. Re: Junkyard for sold tanks - RupinderSinghPellia - 2010-01-01 Sounds good.. yeah would be nice. Re: Junkyard for sold tanks - VuDu - 2010-01-01 i thought of that a month ago but i didn't think you'll like it it's just a little stupid because most of the sold tanks are something like 1000-7000 gold and who will want to buy old tanks when he is getting money for better tanks Re: Junkyard for sold tanks - GooglyBoogly - 2010-01-02 in the example above you would still lose 25% from the heavy tank (so 550*2.5 = 1325), assuming someone else doesn't buy the heavy The cheaper tanks might be bought by a scout that wants to upgrade, I can certainly see scout -> demo. If this were enabled you would also see players moving through the midrange tanks more readily (say heli -> thunder -> heavy), while someone else buys the thunder you just sold. and in those alt mode late games you might see titan -> sky fortress -> titan swaps Re: Junkyard for sold tanks - kingnounours - 2010-01-05 really good idea, i am already addicted to Junkyard of weapons when someone leave. |
