i have allways ask myself how to maps like btanks and bship crossfire make iteims which gives units missiles and damage

well, it's quite easy if you get it. the weapons are all based on the phoenixfire skill (see summon of bloodmage ultimate) which automatically attacks unit in range, dealing damage. so you just need to manipulate the data and put the skill into an item. ;-)
