why you should manipulate logs?
well isnt it obvious? you just don't want to give the impression that you are a lier.
the problem is that i cant prove that this is not true,because I guess you can just simply add these quotes in your logs

Well, fact is somebody with your nick wrote the quoted lines in our channel. Logs don't lie. I haven't been in the channel when you wrote these lines. I only looked them up in the logs.
