I meant it is still same item but range is modified by text commands instead of clickable options. It is not a free option. It can be free command in a noob mode (though we dont have such a mode yet).

So you think this item is not so important and must be cheaper, mostly because it will cost inventory space... So it can be 1500gp. But I think it can be essential item. Maybe it can be conbined with some stuff and release inventory slot. Like Radar or mine defuse pack or maybe with one of hulls to Defensive Pack.

I tried it with 0.03 sec cooldown and it did not disturb game speed (you can check it with map i sent). But dont know how it will effect original map. Exodus must give it a try first.
