I don't know where exactly this could go but obviously repair kits wouldn't
fit into this idea, so there will still be a need for that kind of an item
that you can buy. I'm not suggesting removing anything from the game.
I'm just saying that maybe someone wants some more late-game power
and would otherwise be trapped into having to carry a hull in their inventory
rather than some real firepower. So maybe for a higher "price" to upgrade
your tank's HP, you could use this 'tome' method in order to save item slots.
BTW anyone can argue against a change to the game by saying managing
item slots is a "part of the game" but if you remember the first versions
of this game there were at least 6 items that dealt with "mana" specifically
and it is worth noting that they are no longer a part of the game.
I mean sure you can say managing slots is important but when you're
item choices are 30+ weapons vs 3 hulls / 3 repair kits you are not really
talking about a game with many choices. You essentially have 5 slots at
best to go toward attack weapons because speed/TP will consume one.
And if you have a cheap tank, you really have 4 slots because 1 of those
slots will be consumed by a hull/repiar-kit. But if you can buy tomes
which can let you gradually upgrade your HP, then you can stay on the
same level as that guy that rushes a big tank.
Well I don't know what to say after this much other than, will anyone read this?
And I know I'm about the most hated person here so if the next comment is
negative, just close this shit and I'm done.
