i have windows 8 and windows 7 and its working fine with me on both computers.
if you still have problem with gproxy feel free to message me and let me take a look at your pc through teamviewer.com.
if you allow me i can reinstall the correct gproxy and easier version for you and set it up for you while your watching and chatting with me.
( dont worry its safe and i have done it with many friends and it will not effect your privacy)
it will take around 10-30 minutes if every thing is done gproxy will be auto work forever. by simply click on gproxy to run your warcraft and play. + few notes for beginners for example dont close gproxy while your in middle of game or you will lose connection with the game close gproxy only after you close warcraft etc..
