first of all. I have been playing this game since 4 years now, and i always liked to play it on reguarily base. this has changed since the last versions.
It started as bob666 and exodus left the game design.
The game gets worse and worse every new version. not that new tanks and stuff isnt needed but i dont like the new changes about the league mode.
Back in the day you could host your own games and set the rules as you wanted to, you could play HB, 10k tinker only no hull or what ever, you could use exploder, you could play tinker and own with it (now tinker is so bad) AND you could kick noobs or feeder or insulting players to keep the game balanced and fun. now every dumbass has to be in the game with very little chances to kick. also the community is so stupid nowadays. a year ago it was still possible to have awesome flamewars, kicking fun etc when the game was based on fun not on a stupid league. multiple games are ruined when there are too leavers or even one and you cant kick the feeders for balance.
So basically there is not much hope because the most cool people are gone and i will be gone too soon but just to let you know you humilated a then fun-to-play game. thank you league team.

Well then, based on your post, you might be suprised to hear that I'm the leading developer since version 8.72 again.
Criticizing the the current kick system seems kinda odd, since people complained that it's now too easy to get kicked.
You also seem to dislike the fact, that BT depends a great deal on the league. But that is hardly the fault of the league team. If others would host their own games (maybe also with host bots), they would be able to chose their modes as they want, without any concern of the league.
We just try to provide a plattform for players to gather and play on. It's not like we want the league mode the only one to be played, but rather that we only have limited ressources.

while i absolutely disagree that btanks is ruined, he kind of has a point. Is it possible for your team to maybe give up qualify (or bug pro mode idk if you have anything to do with that) and put in a non league game up?

Well then, the Bug Pro bot now hosts without any preset mode selection. The red player now may choose the mode on his own.

you want me to give feedback? ok here it comes: delete the league mode, play on normal or let people decide what they want to play (maybe within a vote for all players), ie enable exploder, trader and all those funny modes there once were. make the kick command as it was before without any criteria except the vote of all players. make tinker as it was before.
just my 2 cents.

sry,but it sounds like erwin is a totally noob ^^.....no seriously,bt was funny with tinker,trader and exploder and all that crazy modes,but there was no competition and mostly of these "funplayers" ruined the hole game......
people getting rare who play bt,but they also getting better and some league games are really interesting and hard.
Better than only fun

I agree that btanks is more fun with trader and exploder and all modes.
I like the current kick system than the old one.
I cannot play thinker well so I don't know which one is better.
Indeed in league games only league mode is allowed, but the bt mappers are not limiting the fun modes from the map. If you want to play you can host on your own at any time for any mode as you want. If you think your PC is not good as host, there are public BuG bot etc. out there.
If you cannot find enough player to join your game, it means 2 things:
(1) the bt community is small. we don't have enough players to fulfill all hosted games. Actually the whole war3 community is gradually shrinking.
(2) people would rather go for the league games instead of your hosted games, which proves that most bt players do not hate the league mode.
The bt team makes the league system for good purposes. The random team are more balanced and the players are ranked. This challenges more players to keep playing the game and improve their skills. The league makes the game goes to a more competitional level, it is true. But no one forbids the fun modes. So Erwin I don't think your logic is correct to blame the bt team for designed the league mode.
Even if they really want to ruin the game, I think they have the rights to do it, because they worked out the map and already brought lots of fun for many people.

I just switched back to DOTA because I think tower defense is boring. Since tinker buff almost every game starts with 10 minutes of tower defense mid. So boring. Maybe next the developers can make the lanes start with 10 minutes of "Dont move your Tauren" and try to convince everyone how fun it is. I used to play 2 games a day average, now I'm going to play my 2nd game in few weeks just to see if it's fixed yet.
Buffing Tinker HP = Tower defense every game = boring as hell mid. This shouldn't even be a debate for a team game like this. If you like Tinker, GREAT. Go play tower defense mods.
