How does the kick system work

A few games back there was a feeder with a score of 3-21 with almost no assists.... could not kick him

In the same regard, last game I had a score of 5-8 with 6 assists... and I got kicked???

How on earth does the kick system work out its maths, it is also horrible that assists seem to count for nothing

I think this is roughly how it works:
You accumulate points when you are afk or die. If those points accumulate too quickly (they go down over time), then you're able to be kicked.
