New Recipes suggestions
#1
I have a few new recipes ideas which could fill the recipe trader with more useful recipes. Also making it more likely to keep the iron and steel hull more popular, since kinda everyone aims only for the gold hull cuz of the power pack recipe. I have some suggestions to solve this issue...

New Recipes Suggestions:
 • 2x repair kits can be fused into 1 extended repair kit for 300 gold
 • 2x iron hull upgraded fuses into 1 upgraded steel hull for 375 gold - armor level 3 or 4
 • 2x steel hull upgraded fuses into 1 upgraded gold hull for 750 gold - armor level 7
 • Troop Command and Siege pack combined into a Army Pack for 500 gold - armor level 5 (50 sec cooldown, 10 troops spawned, 3 mortars spawned)
 • Minedefuser disassemble for 200 gold. Allows you to use the radar in the defuse pack for ulti pack and sell the defuser seperately, instead of selling the entire pack.

This makes your hull somewhat more useful, but it won't be profitable to make 4 iron hulls into 1 gold, but would not give you so big loss if you fuses 2 steelhulls into 1 gold hull if you want to use it for the power pack recipe.

Recipe change Suggestions:
 • Ultimate pack can also be combined with turbo speed and teleporter items directly, also with radar and nano-repair equipment
 • Trade pack count as radar and teleporter for possible fusing parts for ultimate pack (Even with some loss, it may be worth it and saves up inventory slots)
 • Decrease the armor requirement for trade pack to 4 (it cost only 4250)

So ultimate pack can be made in 3 different ways, instead of only 1 which is currently normal in current BT version. I rarely see hunter pack being used, but it's also very useful to fight enemy tanks with as it also provides a super speed boost for 10 seconds.

You mean buying an "auto-upgrade" to ultimate-pack, detecting all items you have and adding required?

Hunter pack doesn't really fit into this for me... If you want to make it a part of a recipe, it should be balanced and adjusted with cost and everything.
Anyway I think hunter pack is a special item, like nets, mines etc. and should not be combined

I like the idea with hulls. Doubling steel sounds nice as it is not a big power-up in later game, but doubling iron sounds like disbalancing early game. You always have to choose if you are getting iron fast or waiting for steel, or a middle tank. Combining hulls would be returning to the very old now idea of upgrading iron to steel and then gold. That sucked for me.

It will be pricy, as you will lose more than you gain by doing this, except inventory slots. I'm just adding some recipe suggestions, so early items becomes more useful and instead of selling them, you can improve them later on.

I like all your new suggestions, but dont understand the recipe changes - 3 ways of building a powerpack could get confusing, since it could be too much additional recipes in one version.

Loosing a bit comining money for upgrading low hulls is a great idea I think, so guys with 2 steel hulls get another chance not just to sell and buy one gold hull and loosing 50% Gold.

Well, at least also allowing using Turbo Speed and teleport as possible recipe ingredients. It don't need trade pack, it's just nuts i think.

And the Ultipack info could be like

-Nano Repair Robots
-Radar
-Speedpack
OR
-Turbo Speed + Teleporter

You'll save 600 gold, so you don't have to build turbo speed and teleporter if you wanna aim for ulti pack.

I don't think we need any more recipes. Part of the strategy involved in btanks is knowing when to buy, sell, and save. i don't want to see btanks turning into dota. Smart players know that selling is generally a bad idea, because you lose half the gold you spent. Strategies are based around this. For example I like having at least one gold hull with a demon tank, but I also usually have a weaker hull that I sell to get this and have to take the half gold loss. That is why I usually only buy one iron upgraded or steal not upgraded. However, if I knew i could combine them for very little gold I would just always save for the steal and then buy another steal upgrade and combine when I got the demon. it would make things much easier and cheaper. I don't really mind the recipes we have now, but I did fine without them and would usually buy a tp and then just sell it after 15-20 minutes and take the hit. It isn't that it would really make the game imbalanced, as both sides could do it and people would just adjust their strats, but a lot of games use tons of recipes and btanks is unique in that it doesnt. Again, don't want it turning into a dota style game...

I'm curious what exodus thinks about this idea. I'm okey if he dislikes the hull recipes. I'm just suggesting it, only to provide your steel hull, being a useful part for power pack later on....

Also there is only 5 recipes, there is space for some more. Only 1 recipe shop.

Hm, well my opinion again.
First, I see no reason to change the ultimate recipe, it'll stay as it is rigth now. I also won't implement the possibility to combine iron or steel hulls to get the next higher level.
But I did plan to add recipes that require iron or steel hulls, but I couldn't come up with good ideas yet. Maybe I'll do something with the Hunter pack, so you can use it for an even better pack. I also might reduce the requirements of all packs a bit.

What better pack should become of the hunter pack? Shadow Hunter Pack?

Shadow Hunter Pack (11500) - Recipe Cost (2000)
-Hunter Pack (radar and teleporter included)
-Smoke Generator
-Turbo Speed

This pack gives you always 522 speed and you cannot be slowed no matter what. You become invisible for 5 seconds when using teleport. (or spell book 2 spells? Teleporter and Smoke in tha one?)

Item combinig suggestion, maybe a bad one.

2x Repair kits can be fused into 1 Doubled Repair kit for 300 gold
2x Extended Repair kits can be fused into 1 Doubled Extended Repair kit for 600 gold
2x Iron hull upgraded fuses into 1 Doubled Iron hull for 375 gold - armor level 3 or 4
2x Steel hull upgraded fuses into 1 Doubled Steel hull for 750 gold - armor level 7

Doubled Iron hull and Doubled Repair kit can be combined.
Doubled Steel hull and Doubled Extended Repair kit can be combined.

Exodus, perhaps you could make some smaller powerpacks with iron or steel hull.

Maybe with the little repair kit, which I dont use for the same reason of no combining possibility

Godd idea to make packs for the beginning. Maybe with "No Ubgrade" items.

Sometimes, after 20 min gameplay, it's somewhat annoying when I have to wait 10 more minutes to get speed pack recipe available when I got Turbo Speed and teleporter. I think it's a generally good idea to reduce those tech level requirements.

I often get limited by tech restrictions on the power and ulti pack too!

Yeah same happens to me a lot tkf, especially with power pack, as I usually wait a while to get speed anyhow. Though i don't like most of the new recipes(like upgrading hulls), a mini-power pack with steel and the 1500 repair and possibly a new smaller repair (750 gold for 1500 repair) with the iron hull upgrade would be a neat add-on. You don't ever see any recipes before the first 30 minutes or so unless people upgrade troops, and these smaller repair/hull packs would add a new strategic element to the beginning....

theres the sense in requirements. if you would never get limited by them, they would be totally useless. its like saying "please reduce the requirements of the infernal, i can save 18k gold so much earlier".

You can buy ulti pack at any time, just sell the useless items and buy it right away instead of waiting for the recipe. It's not tech restricted as tanks.
