Medivac.

I've just finished the tank page for the new tank. Model used: Custom model. Medivac is a flying support tank, useful for healing allies and creating decoys to draw enemy weapons fire.

I.

Control Point Teleport (C)

With the Control Point Teleport skill you can choose to teleport between factories.

Cost: 75 Gold for each use
Cooldown: 2,5sec.

II.

Well you did create this thread pretty quickly after version release. Thanks for assisting us with tank information. I did just changed the text style to fit in with the other tanks and made this sticky. I did also removed uninteresting information to keep the information as simple as possible to understand to people who doesn't know the editor well.

Medivac suggestions:
Imo I think the decoy ability is to strong. Even at lv1, it's very useful and quite stong ability. I think it should be 10% pr level chance of creating decoy, instead of 100 hp pr level. Otherwise it's not so good start tank, it's abilities really suck at supporting at start.

Also super thrust REALLY SUCKS imo. I think its values should be doubled (Maybe keep the same cooldown and double mana cost), since this tank have more mana than other tanks.

Perhaps implement mana heal into the ultimate? Also the ultimate isn't a good ability imo.

I thought the life converter absorbs a part of the creeps actual HP not of the maximum. I thought i heal less when the enemy creeps get damaged.

I've always wondered why the medivac is using the extra mana for when it learns the ultimate? If it had a ability which used x mana to heal x hp I've could have seen the usefulness, but it's not. I've never been low on mana with medivac, especially when I've learned the ultimate. Have you?

Superthrust image also does splash damage to creeps when it hits an enemy tank.
Going long range in mid takes no skill, so stop telling yourselves otherwise.

i like trying to time the q shot when i'm turning.

i'm confused about the flares and the ultimate abilitys.

the flares are weird. it seems like almost nothing targets them so they're almost useless unless retreating in the same area. is that right?

and the ult doesn't seem to stop spell damage so i'm confused just what all does it stop if it's not a magic type/normal type issue. is it that it just stops tank weapon damage and nothing else, or does it stop creeps and buildings too? i'm thinking it would probably stop pusher creep damage, no???

It makes your tank invulnerable against tank weapons in item slots.

Yeah. The flares are randomly attacked by tank weapons, however, creeps usually only attack them if there are no other tanks/creeps nearby.

Rofl, this model looks awfully familiar :P only when i released it april 08, i had called it the "falcon" ... damn simple edit, but probably the more successful of my early attempts. It was funny opening up battletanks and seeing it there....

ya know.... this old model has a good amount of useless node and geoset data. i could optimize this for you, or just make something entirely new if you'd want.

the models fits into bt as it is, i cant see a necessarity to completely remake it. however, there are models that could need some love other than medivac.

but if youre so enthusiastic at modeling, i doubt anyone would complain about you optimizing the model, especially in terms of size. 8)
