A heli with bombarding dont got a heal skill. A heli needs at least lvl 2 extra speed to reach scout speed (but it can fly thats true).
A heli with bombarding creeps only good in 900 range cause of tank cannon, and without anti creeps tank cannon.

The only advantage is the stun rocket. You need a lot helis to use instant kill rockets on scouts, but the heli is vulnerable to bombarding, too. I think scouts with a hull and longrange will be not serious countered by heli, maybe cause of lower creep gold/rate.

Long range should be changed somehow. For most of Players its too annoying.

Slowly i am annoyed by the guys who are crying cause long range. So plz just balance it somehow so i can rest in Peace :lol:

Nerfing longrange would make totally unusefull since it is already really weak item...

Frechheit doesn't claim that it's too strong (it's well balanced), but that the players keep whining, which annoys him. But those players will keep whining regardless what is the cause, mines, long range, teleporter,... They just like whining.

I had a terrible nightmare yesterday where the next version of btanks would include a "No Long Range Weapons Mode". *shudders*

A "no Longrange Mode" sounds good.

Yes, taking Longrange Weapons its a way to play the game, but against 5 with longrange its quiet "...zzzZZZzzz...".
And i propose to play for fun.
And fun I cant see there.
Sorry, Frecheit, but I see many Bt "starter" with Longrange...
Its good for them becaus not so dangerous and there need no skill...

Think about our internal games.
Is it quiet funny as it was if all from you will taking Longrange?

As I told, if it will be there, ok, but a "no Longrange Mode" will be nice.

IMO Long range is already weak enough, no need for a nerf. Learn to counter it.

I agree. The community needs to learn how to properly counter long range. Perhaps someone can make a guide?
