8.65 (Selecting Market) - Nepharius - 2009-10-15
Today i tried to buy a Guard at the market.
So i selected it, but nothing happened, there was only the picture of the shop and 12 empty slots.
And why you changed it, now it's bugged and now there only 2 more slots at the Vehicle Factory, why don't put the tanks back?
Or fix the bugs...
Ps: It was normal mode so these tanks were enabled

You simply selected the enemied market.
As i said in the changelog, you can't buy things at the enemied market anymore.
Go to your own market instead

Couldnt reproduce. What were the siituations, anybody bought smth from that shop? Were you in dark or light force?

Something i noticed:
I was observer and clicked on the market: -> only empty slots most of the time, but some times (it seemed kinda random) there were the tanks etc. If I don't click on it, instead selecting it with a larger field (don't know how to discribe it in english in any better way) I never see only empty slots, allways the correct things.

I was Dark Force (Team 1) and i tried to select our market.

Observers are not counted as active players and are thus not included to the market system (since they arent able to buy things there nonetheless).
You could still help me by telling me the colour you used in that game.
Edit: I just made a deselection script for the observers, so they do not see the market's offer as if they are enemied players.
But i don't think that the observer problem with market selection is such a great bug to deserve an additional release version.

Paladon what happens when you select the market when u use the change ability? Unit replace?

No, a dummy unit is simply selected.
There's just one possibility why it does not work, the unit is simply not selected.
Replacing would not be multi-player instancable.
I just need to know whether it happens for a specific player colour only or not.

After a long and time sucking testing, i found out that the selection and whole market system is not properly working for the players yellow and light blue.
I fixed that now since i knew the colours.

I was playing as yellow in a rush game and was unable to select anything from the market.
I thought it might be due to the disabling of the trader turning off the market completely (so no guard or exploder could be purchased)
but I see it might just be a general bug. If anyone can confirm that the market works in a rush game for a non yellow/light blue player then that would be great.

I did, and i even referenced it in my post. I wanted to be sure what I was seeing was a result of the bug you identified, and not a more general non-colour specific bug. Please read my post more carefully next time.
