Rename "Bombarding Rockets" to 'BTOW rockets' - scron2 - 2009-10-10
I don't think this needs a great deal of explanation.
The name is shorter and easier to remember then.

I would like the bambarding rockets to be changed to 1200 range and have a bit more damage, i really dont think we need a 1300 range 2k gun its a bit to much. Torpedo is ok at 1300 because it is a slow firing weapon and it cost 2800.
If two people are on top lane and one has cannon and the other has bombard the guy with bombard will win, i know that taks in some factors like player skill but bombard has a cd of 1.5 sec for a solo lane thats to short of a cd to charge if you are short ranged.
If you have a demo your to slow to catch him if your a light tank your to weak to get to him if your a short range scout your crazy :lol: , i find copter the only tank that can counter bombards well.

Just because it "creeps too bad" means absolutely nothing. That's a good thing, referencing DOTA once again, you want the opponent to be drawn closer to your tower so you can farm more safely. Also the bombard allows for easier long range killing.
I agree with Tom, and I don't know who this 5k-hb-noob "prog" is who is disagreeing with him... but I can assure you that Tom is a better player and that makes him right.

Well it's like i said ''i know that takes in some factors like player skill'' because i can beat just about anyone with bombard on a solo lane, i can also beat a bombard user on a solo lane. But with the experience i have had most normal to semipro players lose to bombards, also like i said copter are about the onlyones who can conter it well.
And with scouts cannon at 1050?? now why do we need it to be 1300, most bombard users are scouts.
Truth be told that back in the day when normal was all you could find i would always be able to get demon in 20 min, with just 1 bombard, they are bad at farming mid because there are to many targets unlike top or bot that have 12 creep spawns and normaly one enemy tank.

lol tom i doubt you can beat VELO or INDE at bombarding rockets
not even a chance there in the top 5 players in the world at this game ^^sorry but there skill level is much higher.Tom i know that inde has played your clan b4 infact 3-4 shamans at once and INDE was referred as the best btanks player they ever seen ^^

I never said i could beat Velo or Inde you can read what i said over if you wish, what i said was i can beat "most" players, not all. Scron said i could beat Inde but i didn't, i have never played him, so i have no clue if i can beat him 1v1.

But it's true. If you go againt any BTOW players, they mass up BTOW rockets like no other.
And they get that Green Paw© cannon too. (It's also due for rename)
