Medivac in 8.61c - TKF - 2009-07-28

Here's a list of the issues with the medivac.

  1. The drain ability doesn't drain so much. It has small aoe.
  2. Medivac is quite fragile, it should have 1250 hp to be balanced among starter tanks
  3. Medivac is slow since it don't have passsive speed ability, even with speed ability, maybe it should start with 310 like airship?
  4. Creep weapons easily kills flares. Is this intentional?
  5. Ultimate ability don't provide permanent mana bonus
  6. Ultimate doesn't stop the incoming projectiles, instead the incoming projectiles resets the buff (it's overriding the ultimate buff I think)


I suggest you rework the ultimate again. Instead I suggest you use trader ability magic block ability on units within 900 range.

Suggestion to ultimate versions
  1. Block 2000 magic damage + 500 pr level. Lasts for 20 seconds.
  2. Block 2000 magic AND normal damage + 500 pr level. Lasts for 20 seconds
  3. Block unlimited magic damage. Lasts 2 seconds + 0.5 seconds pr level.

I would rather a heal that doesn't need creeps ^__^,
Scout rune skills is so much betterConfused

Well I don't like it, cuz the ultimate isn't working properly.

Well I like it - except the ultimate is very buggy i also noticed now. sometimes it dissappears, like tkf wrote and also no mana Bonus is spend.

The superthrust speed bonus should keep increasing, so at level 5 it can move at max speed without needing any speed items.

I agree. I'm only skilling that ability on 1 level just to get the speed boost, cuz it's 25% on all levels.

Also I usually skill drain ability only 1 level, just to suck up the flares. Maybe increase the flare hp drain pr level?

We should just remove the medivac altogether, it has no place in competitive play.
