As you know 5k hb is the most popular mode but also unbalanced. With high-range weapons its really easy to kill. What about balancing it with fog? Then fog will reduce the range sometimes and it will be more balanced. 5k and hb should be removed from custom mode and there should be a quick option for "5k -hb fog". You can play with 5k hb only with fog.

Fog would not change that much. Hb is supposed to be unbalanced.

I guess diableing range weapons (energy torpedo and bombing rockets) will only balance it...Could there be this kind of option in custom mode?

i think the only way to balance woulde be set the bounty factor in hb to 1
but hb is still NOT ment to be balanced so stop spamming with "balance hb plz"

I think you cannot balance it so easy. If you choose 30k , lvl 1 !. How to blance troopcommand, which has no use with so weak creeps?
If you just make them stronger its no real 30k, lvv1
Also the fog wouldnt stop making longrange in HB, especially in mid, effective, because your troops can be your eyes
