goblin riots should not count toward unit count - benben10 - 2009-04-15
i just played a game where my team lost but i got highest score on overall scoreboard because of a high unit production count. i never build any factories or purchased any troops items.i just dumped out goblin riots while in the goblin tank. i dont think anyone really cares about the after game scoreboard and i dont know if its supposed to be correct but getting alot of extra points just for dumping out riots seems unfair. here is the replay of my last game where this occured.

I wouldnt deny this, ultimately this scoreboard should be balanced as much as possible because it gives more information that there is in the end game scoreboard and -stats. BUT it seems kinda pointless because there are many things that change that score like one time as trader and owning team mates, i still got highest score by a long way. And trader score doesnt compare to normal tank score (same with exploder etc)....

Yea, i think that should be changed, too. These (invulnerable) goblin riots could as well be some stuff like slow homing missiles to get the same effect, its just a style/visual effect thing. They arent really troops.

Ah ... ok. I just noticed you weren't talking about the end game awards, but rather the standard Warcraft score screen. Well, this screen isn't accurate anyway, so there's no point in changing such things. For example, this screen also counts the used dummy units.

aww. you just broke me little ego. i love looking at that thing and getting top score even when my team loses. makes me feel like i still played better than everyone. *tear , sniffle
oh well i guess i will just have to suck less
