Bot League - aSearch.INFO - 2009-02-17

Is it, or it should be.
Games with a bot host auto completed a league, information about the game, who participated, the statistics player.
And that the site could see it.

Re: Bot League - Dr.McNinja - 2009-02-17

What?

Are you:
Asking if hostbots automatically submit the game to the website,
Suggesting that it does automatically sumbit games,
Suggesting that scores of players (ingame scores i assume) be link to the league website.

I think it would be too much trouble to have a hostbot subit scores when only one person has to it, assume its possible at all. individual in-game scores of players would be nice, but could be hard/impossible to implement.

If i am wrong, please reword or clarify what youre trying to say..

Re: Bot League - aSearch.INFO - 2009-02-17

sory my bad engl.

I do not see any difficulty
the same league at all the only machine(auto)

and do not need to Register

Re: Bot League - Velocity2k - 2009-02-17

The problem is that the bot has to get ingame stats. If you read the bot forum you will see that it is not that easy. The bot normally doesn't know anything what's going on in a game.

Re: Bot League - Dr.McNinja - 2009-02-18

Do you mean league games without having to register?

Re: Bot League - Morkardar - 2009-02-19

Automatic league games are no problem.
Submitting the code is.
It is possible to kick ANYONE not safelisted.
It is possible to force someone writing -league by letting the bot do itWink

BUT it is not possible to force the players joining.
And it is hardly possible to automatically submit league codes with my knowledge.

Re: Bot League - Dr.McNinja - 2009-02-19

Yes.. i think a single human player submitting the code isnt too much.

The bot could have a second program that automates the entire submitting of code sequence..: copy code, open site, login, submit code. I believe this is possible (but unnecessary).

Re: Bot League - qweqqweq - 2009-02-19

how do you get a bot to know if some one is safelisted?

Re: Bot League - Morkardar - 2009-02-19

Ask the developer to implement safelist or code it yourselfSmile
