i didnt search for a previous post of this but i bet its worth mentioning. at the trade masteer you can either turn in your trade goods for gold or for items and the bomb is one of the items you can trade for. i dont know if this is supposed to be allowed but man is it fun to use. it takes a long time to get the items if your team doesnt have full control of the board and lately everyone plays high bounty which means you should never get items at the trade master. it might not be that big of an issue. oh well, if its fixed no big loss.

I thought the point of the trade goods was that the trader is allowed to cash in his goods for what he wishes...

I believe the point was that the trader tank is not allowed to purchase a bomb from the vendor. This was disabled to prevent invincible traders (ultimate) flying in and dropping bombs
Yet you could still get one from the trade-master as a recipe for a certain combination of trades

Yeah, the Trader should be able to use the Bomb. It's just that he can use the Bomb much easier than other tanks (and also buy it quite fast with his money), so he has to put some more effort in getting the Bomb with the trade items.
