Spawning Factory - ZergSpamNuke - 2009-01-28

Something just popping into me...

what if you could upgrade (or just an function already available) the spawning factory?
This would not only spawn the standard marine, orc flamer, zepp and ballista, but also small replica's of the player's tanks with identifiable abilities.

Note: They are still simple mobs and still easily killable (not in like a real counterpart to the real tanks, not by a bit)
So this is not meant to drastically increase the strength of the mobs, but it might prove to be real fun.

Additionally, it rewards having more advanced tanks...

How about an upgrade that could make it into both a spawning and a healing factory at once?

A perfect copy of the tank, which deals only 5% of the damage or something, and 10% hp...

You must know that tanks deal damage with weapons which is done by phoenix fire. Phoenix Fire has no identifier to get a % damage. Either a tank has a weapon or not. Or every weapon needs a replica for 5% damage (which is not worth working on).
And I dont think ppl will bother with little abilities.
But:
Factories can be upgraded for an extra special creep which will spawn with every wave. (rusher pusher healer etc...)
Hmm cost can be 1000 gold or smth..

in my opinion the upgrade should cost more, because upgrading the aura 3 levels cost 9000gold and gives "only" a 33% chance to send out an extra creep
make it between 1500 and 2000

off topic, sorry: for 9k gold plus 2750 gold for the tcc i think the pushers should spawn closer to 100% of the time. It costs more than a blaster cannon, it's a lot of gold.

if 'special' creeps had a chance to spawn from captured CP's it would become more worthwhile

9000 gold is very funny for me. It has 33% chance to send 3 special units per 20 seconds. Which means 3 special unit per 1 minute...
Maybe it must be less chance but chance to spawn from every factory seperately as qweq mentioned..
