[8.56] - qweqqweq - 2008-12-18 I'm not absolutely postitive about this so don't bite my head off if I'm wrong about this but for a few games now it seems like i've seen an ally CPTP (control point teleport) animation appear and then no one came. it could be that they were stunned or dissabled or died but it's also possible that they were teleporting to another point and it appeared at the wrong spot and was a bug. A couple times now I could have sworn i saw an enemy CPTP animation. Many times an enemy has turned back the instant i clicked out a CPTP near them as if they saw mine. This animation is in my mind the greatest addition to the 8.56 version but wasn't it only supposed to be visible for allies? Maybe I read that wrong. my bad if I did. If it is nearly conquered, and an enemy clicks on CPTP half second before it is completely captured, you can see the animation but nobody comes, because it says "the target must be a friednly cp" (or whatever it says when CPTP fails). I could buy some items from their junkyard and not buy some from mine. I'm not exactly sure what was going on. Re: [8.56] - benben10 - 2009-01-16 about the teleport thing at the start of this thread. when i teleport i see the animation go over my tank twice (or atleast the spot i teleport from) which is normal i think. but if i use certain abilities like jump or a personal tp (tinker, tp item, etc.) then it cancels the control point tp. which is annoying and also possibly what you are refering to. Re: [8.56] - N-Dee - 2009-01-17 When another player than the owner of the troop command center is triggering the planting of a bomb, the bomb will not be planted at the rally point that has been set but at the troop command center. Also, it was reported that the rally point could not be set by other players than the owner of the center (i have not checked this by myself). no teleport on the tank pilot - qweqqweq - 2009-01-25 if you play with no tinker, and no trader then you try to get one at the trade master of the side tank shops then you get stuck as a pilot. then you can't do anything if you don't have the money for another tank. and if it happens at the trade master you're just stuck! some one i was playing used -afkai or something like that and it gave him a scout and sold all his items, he was in a goblin tank before he got stuck as a pilot. I think nk he was trying to get a lazer tower at the trader tower ruin but missclicked a couple times and ended up stuck for 10 minutes before the ai got him the scout. If the pilots all had the teleport ability that the starting pilots had it would fix it but that would also make it easier to shop for a side tank as well (which i like). or else the only other thing i can think of is to not allow the tinker or trader purchase through triggers when they are dissabled. UNLUCKY ME!!! - qweqqweq - 2009-01-27 omfg i found another stuck spot. How many more of these are there? The same guys i was plaing with in the last game i got stuck in were in this one too and I'm afraid they're going to start thinking i'm bad luck. Hahahahaha! ![]() ![]() wrong troop spawn disabled - qweqqweq - 2009-01-30 I was curious if i'd still get my pusher creep if i killed my bottom right factory and not only did i still get it, but i also got the two marines and the zepplin that normally come from it. but the two comandos and the zepplin that normally come from the middle right factory didn't appear. .[attachment=1] so then i killed the middle right one and the bottom right spawn stopped coming, including the pusher creep. [attachment=0] oh and also, btw, there is a mana bug that's been bugging me for a long time: sometimes when i get thunder tank around 8 minutes into a 3k game i have i think 79 max mana and sometimes it's 84 max mana. I'm not sure if those numbers are right, but whatever they are, sometimes i can cast the stun and ultimate instantly and sometimes i have to wait a second to do them both or else buy a battery. Also, sometimes i think you can get more mana if you upgrade your tank 2 or 3 times and just get like 2 batteries for the first couple tanks and level a few times before the next tank upgrade. It seems like my final max mana when i get titan varies from some games after 10 mana upgrades. I'm not too sure though, it's just a feeling i have, i could be wrong about that part. One thing i'm sure about is that the titan's mana requirements are waaaaaaaaaay higher than what you can ever get with mana upgrades if you have teleport and a power pack for instance you can't even get close to using all your skills and the two items at the same time without running out of mana. |
