[8.55] Purchase bug - dyablo_r - 2008-12-03

Don't know if it's intentional or not but on this version (didn't tried on others yet) you can buy tanks from base without having armor upgrade. With lvl 1 armor upgrade you can buy all tanks from the base, and from the middle factory you can buy tanks till frost robot inclusive. Regards

It's not very clear. You have to enable "additional tech requirements" in the custom game option.

Hmm....but there are 3 tanks that can't be bought although....: sky fortress, infernal robot and titan. Only for these tanks armor upgrade is required. Other tanks can be bought even on the start of the game :|. It's only working when i disable upgrades in custom game options -> more tank requirements, but that disables the right to upgrade also. If i'm wrong my mistake sorry.

There is a submenu in the custom game menu right after the tinker mode one that says "Tank Requirements". If you click on "More tanks with requirements", then that is enabled and all tanks with cost greater than 3000 will require the armor requirements it says in the tank's purchase information. Otherwise, only the tanks that are above the Frost Robot (Sky Fortress, Infernal, and Titan) will require the specified armor. You shouldn't have to disable upgrades in order for the additional armor requirements system to work.

This is no bug. Only Sky Fort, Infernal and Titan is normally restricted through armor tech requirements in a normal game.
