WTF Mode - m0rbid - 2008-10-28 Tanks Special Skill Cooldown time halved, and or cooldown time on other items eg, troop command, siege command, smoke machine, teleport item. Teleport time between factories set to 0 for an ultimate control point competition Re: WTF Mode - Giftfinger - 2008-10-28 another mode is in my opinion only useles. at least as useless as a no mode (because its nearly unpossible to decide what should stay and what not (exploder, trader, mines, tinker, explosives, demolischer mines, factories, upgreades, tech requierments ....) I made the suggestion all random mode because of fun and many maps have such a mode or version. - but i wanted to make fun of new modes. I dont believe that a WTF Mode would be choosen more than once. It sounds like a fun mode, but do you truely believe that many player want that? If you host btanks in custom mode, you are angry because you have to read all those different buttons to decide what you want and what not. (At least I hate the custom mode, - i dislike trader (its unfair if only 1 trader is in one of the two teams) and exploder ( 99% can't play exploder and are jumbing on every single tank and feeding like hell - and than are the first leaver). But for faster start i mostly choose the mode notrader. (and hope that noone is so stupid to get exploder) Re: WTF Mode - Bobguydude - 2008-11-12 I just had an interesting game of BTanks. The host I believe had some sort of hack on that sped up the game speed by 2X, then about halfway through by 3X, or at least we assume he was hacking since as soon as he left it returned to normal. Also, it was insanely fun. I don't think we should just decrease cooldown times, but speed everything up if that's possible. Though I don't know how many people would enjoy this, most of the people in the game seemed to think it was awesome, before we even knew why it was happening. I saved a replay on the off chance the speedup would still be visible, but the only evidence was how slowly we seemed to react and make decisions since the replay moved at normal speed. Move it up to 2X and you'll see what we saw, though it may have been somewhere about 3X. I'm not really sure ![]() |
