Conquest Economy mode
A custom mode alternative for Custom Mode
- A custom chosen mode there controlling CP's gives the team a huge economical advantage and increases the force gold given significantly every 5 min. Losing CP's is more critical. Stacks with any other modes.


Economy bonus updated every 20 sec
Each control point provide a major force gold boost every 20 seconds. For every control point a team owns, the force gets 100 gold every 20 sec. (Players only get 6-17 of this gold, depending on how much players there is on the team, and mainly due to the way the force gold distribution system is made, much of the gold is lost and 100 isn't so much when it comes to this system).


The purpose and benefit
Controlling 3 CP's should give the player about 300-750 (5 players to 1 player) more force gold every 5 min. Twice as if all CP's is under teams control. Thus this gold amount isn't not so very noticable, the purpose of this mode, is to make a game slightly faster when a side takes control over the CP's and as a fun mode as a viable option which the host can choose. Also if a side gains control of all CP's, it's more likely for that team to win in this alternative mode.



(Maybe the gold amount suggested isn't significant, but I think the suggested amount here is the minimum for such mode. I could be higher maybe, but preferable not lower. At least if this amount should have a significant impact of controlling CP's in such mode)


What advantages/disadvantages?
Advantages:
  • More fun to fight for CP's
  • CP's have more importance
  • More Income
  • Faster tank and items devopment
  • Slightly faster game
  • more...?


Disadvantages:
  • Stacks with hb and could make a game too much fast paced
  • Harder to turn the battle
  • Similarity with hb mode
  • Unwelcome high speed tanks and items development?
  • Slightly faster game unwanted? (if you like long games)
  • more...?

i like it with the reason its an alternative mode. sometimes peolpe want fast games because they havent got much time, so they can play a fast game. im prefer long games but i think some players would welcome this mode

Unlike you, I like the games short as possible in normal mode. I would combine this with hb and wc to see if games can end in 20 min more often. I got very low freetime atm now, so i don't even have time to finish a regular single BT game; I have to leave these games and I don't like it.

This really seems like it would be fun to play. Would add alot more teamwork to the games aswell with coordinating ports and attacks.

i like the idea, but simply getting more money from cps seems too simple. It would be neat if you could add different ways of benefiting. Maybe give some bonus to traders, add different points that maybe dont heal but can be controlled, who controls most land etc, kind of make it a different game concept. That might freshen up btanks if it ever gets dull. Modes like -wtf (in dota) or capture the flag etc would be fun too...

hmmm, one problem for strong players in weak teams, they dont have any chance in this mode agaisnt teams. Would be imbalanced for league games, because many friends play together games etc...

remove hb and add this mode

It's up to the mapper to remove hb or not. I realize that this mode has much in common with hb mode.

maybe there could be a dialog button for custom like "High Bounty", "Conquest Economy" or "Nothing/Skip/Normal/Continue/etc"

I like this idea. It shakes up the stereotypical game where you capture the middle and then strike and take out the base. This is bound to make the game totally different (which I like).
