[8.49] -lai buying other tanks in tink only mode - kittyonmyfoot - 2008-07-16
Been blowing off some steam with tink only Ultra rush and i turn on -lai since a leaver on ultra is VERY bad for the other team. All the AI's bought other tanks 1st an infernal, then I noticed a guard and a Titan >.<

Well, it's not really a bug. The AI don't know how to play with the Tinker, because we didn't do anything like that. The reason is, all the other tanks are using their skills on their own, without us saying how to do it (with some exceptions), so the normal Wc3-AI is doing most of the work regarding skill-usage.
The problem is, that this AI doesn't know, how to handle a Tinker properly, because his hero-concept is kinda unique, compared to normal heroes.
Because of all that, the BT-AI won't play with the Tinker, so there are two possibilties for an Only-Tinker-Mode: the AI won't do anything or the AI will buy other tanks it can handle. You already know what we've decided to do.
The only solution for that would be to write an AI for the Tinker. But I don't think that the outcome of this would be satisfying (additionally this would be quite hard to do).

And Guard is still waiting at the point it roots forever (or got killed). Can you improve that skill? Maybe you can improve tinker as well.

I think you should add an unroot condition when the guard has low hp, perhaps when hp is less than 40%?

No the best one.
If AI rootes near a CP. After that your team captures another CP which is far from previous.
Or you roote far from the battle.
My advice is to add a condition of Tree Ants Death in Distance of > 2000.
