creep upgrades - qweqqweq - 2008-06-28 maybe u should make the amount of xp and bounty for killing creeps go down everytime you upgrade the new creep building that u made. (once again, the name of the damn thing escapes me...) that's a really cool building btw, i definately like it! if you did make the reductions then it could shorten game times a lot 'cuase the other team would start to get out-leveled and out-farmed unless they too did these researches too! :wink: Re: creep upgrades - kittyonmyfoot - 2008-06-30 Command center? ... sounds more manipulative rather than skill based. Part of the reason that I don't like the Last hit / deny system in Dota. It defies logic too... better creeps provide less experience? Re: creep upgrades - RedNova - 2008-06-30 Well, you spend 3k to 9k gold to have a CHANCE of having a single special creep pop out every 20 seconds. Granted, this single creep is very powerful (and boost others), but taken in context this is a very expensive upgrade for what you get. If those must give less experience (they already give less gold if I recall correctly), then I think we should rebalance the whole XP system and this seems to be a bad idea. I'm more inclined to lessen the upgrade cost (maybe from 3k to 2.5k) and augment the mana regen of the building itself. It is still a bit underpowered in my opinion. Also, make the upgrades availiable to ALL team players instead of forcing a single guy of having to plunk 9k himself. Traders and exploders can do so without problems, but for normal tanks this is a big sacrifice. |
