i like combining items. i think item recipies are really cool. in my map, "kill the mofo" i put in the word's best item combiner so that i could have over 20,000 item recipies i like them so much!
i don't know if this is a sore subject with the map creators or why they don't have item recipies.
maybe exodus' mom was brutally slain gangland style by an item recipe when he was 10 years old and on that day he vowed, "i'll never make an item recepie ever in my whole life!" (but in german)
or maybe when BOB666 was young he was making item recipies all the time even though his parents forbid him to use them. but he still was making item recipies secretly at night in his secret lab which he dug out underneath his parent's house. 'till tragedy struck and one night he made a really volitile item recipie and it exploded! then his whole house collapsed which resulted in the death of his parents and is the reason why his dog only has 3 legs now.
if none of these are the reason why battle tanks has no item recipies then why not put some in?

PowerPack + UltimPack = Pack
Plasma Fragments (6kg) + Plazma Wawes (4kg + 1200g) + Light Plasma Gun (2kg + 500g) = Plazma Canon (Duno with name) with 502dmg 0.5sec Range - 900 (1005 dps - 409 + 421 + 175 With upgrades.) Total cost 13700g (without any craft cost)
Basic Magic (1111g + 555g) + Magic Canon (3333g + 1111g) + Fear Magic (5050g + 1500g) = Bla-bla magic (Duno with name) with 232dmg 0.25sec Range - 900 (928dps - 111 + 381 + 436 With upgrades.) Total cost 12660g (without any craft cost)
Fan Of Knives (2200g + 600g) + Swarm Rockets (3300g + 1200g) = Booboo Weapon (Duno with name) with 250dmg 0.5sec Range - 1050 (500dps = 196 + 300 + 4 With upgrades) Total cost 7800g (with craft 500g)
Frost Magic (6060g) + Ice canon (3kg + 900g) + Frost laser (30kg + 12kg) = Frost pack (Duno with name) with 380dmg 0.1sec Range - 950 (3800dps = 405 + 433 + 2950 + 12 With upgrades.) Total cost 55kg (with craft 3040g)

u make the power pack a recipie item!
radar + repair kit (nono-bots, whatever it's called i don't ever get the stupid thing) + speed boost + teleport = power pack!
i absolutely hate that having to sell any of those items just to get a power pack. it's such an expensive item. but power pack is such a cool item it'd be nice to see it used more. i think that this would do that.
or this one!
small hull + medium hull + plus gold hull (all upgraded) = ultimate hull which also can block a spell every x seconds! upgrade that hull and not only do u get more hp but x becomes a smaller number.
exodus and bob666 what do u think of these ideas? good, bad, needs work, u hate combined items?

There's enough weapons ingame. There's no need to combine firepower into firepower. It's still the same and lame -.-
However items provide the tank with several abilities, so it has more purpose to combine different items with different abilities (like regen + speed + teleport + detection).

Weapon crafting will make some weapons more valuable than others with the same cost and other parameters. Unless all weapons will be carefully arranged. But as I see it I see it clearly stupid - it'll shift game to the side of linearity.
@JpOO:
Following your sugegstions I see no logic in combining Fan of Knives with Swarm Rockets. For example, combining Fireball Cannon with Flamer into Blaster Cannon I see more logical.

Just an assumption: I think we have too little items that provide tanks with any kind of abilities. And that's the reason why we have so little items to combine in.

Why no logic? FanOfKnifes have 950 range with upgrade, rockets - 1000, they have 0.5speed (right?) so its nice to combine.

It must autoheal when you drop HP-8k
It also must have a onboard weapon like long laser..
