Mines question - Batto - 2008-03-14
The mines, do they do full dmg on 300 range and half dmg on 600 range or is it that the dmg varies from 0 to 600 range doing full damage on 0 range and 50% on 600 range? Just had a discussion about it and would really like to know now

set Damage = (1.75-1.5*(Dist/Rng)) * DmgDist = Distance between the triggering unit and the mine
Rng = the maximum range of the mine (in this case its 600)
Dmg = the mine damage, depends on the mine and attack upgrades
It does basically mean that full damage is dealt within half the range (300), after that the damage slowly goes down to 25% of the maximum. So at 301 range its just slightly lower than the full damage.
