Hotkeys - Havana - 2007-11-22 my intention is to chance the hotkeys so the passiv skills (for example the turbo of airtanks) "are laying" on Q due to the fact that the kombination for the main ingame menue of warcraft is ALT + Q (ALT = Show healthpoints of all units). Sometimes i realease ALT to late accidentaly before casting a skill on Q and the menue opens -> annoying... if the skills on Q are passiv this problem is solved.... Re: Hotkeys - SirJoghurt - 2007-11-22 öh... nope.. then learn to controll your fingers.. and where you want to put for example q=rocket ulti ? on g,L, o ? no...sorry but thats really your own prob.. Re: Hotkeys - Havana - 2007-11-22 if you change the passiv skills to hotkey Q the old hotkyes will be free?! so in future the skills will be on Q, W, E and R... only in a new order. Re: Hotkeys - Billy_Talent_ll - 2007-11-22 hmm, not bad idea... Re: Hotkeys - Batto - 2007-11-22 I dont mind, but i wont mind if it doesnt change either, i understand your point, but i really dont mind ![]() Re: Hotkeys - DOGG1 - 2007-11-23 I've only ever quit 2 games because of this in my whole battletanks career. Just get into the habbit of releasing alt before using hotkeys. I do this and it's automatic i don't even think about it anymore. Re: Hotkeys - DerSatan - 2007-11-23 i got a fantastic idea. ![]() its called custom hot keys. just give it a try :!: Re: Hotkeys - riC - 2007-11-24 I've already tried and i failed -.- Re: Hotkeys - Havana - 2007-11-24 you tired what? Re: Hotkeys - TKF - 2007-11-24 tired of what? hotkeys? I'm happy enough with the QWER hotkeys. Re: Hotkeys - Havana - 2007-11-24 tried....... look the context...... Re: Hotkeys - DerSatan - 2007-11-25 what a dialogue, nice nice... but why did you failed havana..? im using "blamestar's hotkey tool" and im quite happy with it. no mapper can chose the hotkeys to satisfy everyone. especially not with the different language standard settings. Re: Hotkeys - Havana - 2007-11-25 i cant remember when i have said that i failed..... uuhhmmm.... this is amazing..... Re: Hotkeys - riC - 2007-11-25 Lol. I failed remapping the hotkeys per customkeys.txt. There is also a thread about it afaik. Re: Hotkeys - DOGG1 - 2007-11-25 HAHAHA yous are all on different planets ![]() Re: Hotkeys - TKF - 2007-11-25 http://www.blamestar.de/hotkey_tool/files/count/BHT_0.17b.zip dl link Re: Hotkeys - Vomitus - 2007-11-26 Allow me to mention such program like WarRun. It has many tweaks for WC3 but I use not much of them. I don't want to talk much and just'll say it has two features you might be interested in. First, it can make permanently display unit health. So, you don't need to hold Alt key all the time. Well, someone would rather put this feature to "cheat" category but it isn't actually a cheat. WarRun was made with a purpose playing legally on official servers too and there no actual intrusion into a game thread happen. It acts like your "user interface control" such as mouse or keyboard. So there is another one: it allows to disable "dangerous" key combinations, like 'Alt+F4', 'Alt+Tab', 'Alt+Esc', 'Win' key. Unfortunately, it has no option to disable Alt+Q combination ingame, so use permanent hp display. Re: Hotkeys - TKF - 2007-11-26 Also useful advice and prog. But I never hit the Alt + Q combo, and I almost never use alt command. Re: Hotkeys - Vomitus - 2007-11-27 I've just downloaded BHT. Now I think I'll use it instead of WarRun, because the vast majority of functions it provides(WarRun) I don't use. Btw, I've already found a bug in BHT - custom keymappings do not allow to save NoAction until you manually edit ini file ![]() _Edit: I've tried BHT but... if there is no way to chat without disabling this program then it sucks:(. Re: Hotkeys - DerSatan - 2007-11-27 there is a way to do it. when you press enter you may chat normally, when you press enter again your message is submitted und your custom keys apply now. this is made for ingame chatting, as chatting works this way ingame. but it also works in channels etc. theres also a hotkey that allows you to activate and deactivate BHT instantly without minimizing warcraft, default is "pause" i think it also allows to deactivate "dangerous" key combinations, including alt+q. permanent health show is included too, i toggle it with "TAB". |
