Battle Tanks 8.27 - Exodus - 2007-09-30

And here's the new version again! Have fun with it.

8.27

* Mine damage now increases with each weapon upgrade (+3%)
* A floating text shows the damage a mine has done
* Removed the radar from the Mine Remote Fuse
* A new Pilot will now be the start unit
* Reworked No Tinker Mode
* The Dead, Lava- and Chaos-Servants now have 25% less Hitpoints
* Troop Command and Reinforcements will no longer spawn all units at once
* Units summoned by Troop Command or Reinforcements will only last for 20 seconds
* Rebalanced the Bounty formula, the Bounty will grow slower than before
* You can no longer build a Factory in your base when there already are 6 of them
* Decreased Trader movement speed and Shadowwalk duration
* Decreased the regeneration of the Barricade
* Guard can no longer heal buildings
* You have now 30 seconds to choose all options in Custom Mode
* Increased the damage of Hail of Bombs (Heavy Tank)
* Fixed some minor Bugs

WOW, looks like a really good update ! Too bad i have to go in a few moments, cant wait to try it out!

Maybe i'll try to play a game tonight, otherwise i need to wait for tomorrow very late or even thuesdaySad :evil:

Seems to be a quite good version so far. Even though i just played 2 games with 8.27: well done : )

I wonder how that mine system works? Is it purely added with code and compared with force attack upgrades in addition? Does it also apply on exploders and demolishers mines?

Only Mines, and yes, it's purely coded with Jass.

Have been playing btanks for a while but never registered till now. I'm not a fan of this update, neither are most of my clan mates (KCTZ). We'll be sticking with 8.26.

Pros:
New starting tank.
-I think this will help get new players more familiar with the game quicker.

Cons:
Nerfing the Trader was not needed as far as I'm concerned.
Troop Command/Reinforcements troops on a 20 timer.
Heavy tank Buffed.
Guard no longer heals building.


Sorry to sounds like I'm really complaining, we love the map just not this update. Keep up the good work.
