A hotkey that is randomly assigned -> no
A hotkey to get a random tank at the beginning -> yes: R (duh)

u sure u selected the pilot first?

You normally don't have to select the pilot as it's selected by default at game start, so just pressing [R] should do the job.

I guess he firstly clicked the vehicle factory and then pressed "r"
