Replays of different strategies - Wupti - 2012-10-13
yo guys, i decided to test some tactics and show how to counter specific tactics, instead of all the talk etc i will only upload the replay with a short description, then people can watch and decide for themselves
if you have any suggestions or having problem countering a certain tactic please write it here and i will see if i can get some solutions for you

That is a nice idea! If more top players upload their replays it would be helpful for new players, too. I would like to see some strategies/builds for the lane although i sually don't go there anymore:
- Against a Scout + Bombarding + fast 2nd Bombarding,
- Starting ranges below 900 (for example Light Tank+ Tornado, Heli + Basic Cannon, Antigrav + Glaive/Bonfire, ...),
- Going for a fast Schredder or Thunder and how you manage to survive against Airships or bigger.

Yeah please do this, I am new to Btanks and I am searching for good replays, but its hard to find any at all :/
I would like to see some close range builds and not long range all day long.

if i understood it correct it was 3 different strategies and not all in 1 game right?
I tryed a few games with light tank + tornado - schredder, but both in qualify. I will try some in ranked where it's a little more realistic. More replays will come, and i highlight which one i recommend u to see. for Any further tactics just ask

Well i don't wanna see reps about scout with 2 Bombarding or Heli with 2 Energy.
I wanna see good lane builds (top/bot) without abusing 1200+ range.
Also for example Ghost/Thunder/Guard would be cool, not just Air Zep. or Heavy.
What i need is a good farm build for the start, so you don't rely completly on getting kills or being fed by some noobs.
A save way from early to mid/late game. I am new to Btanks so i often don't know if i should save for a tank or buy a better weap.
Furthermore i find it quite hard to make an advantage even bigger, like if i get some kills I buy a new Weapon, overextend some times and loose my advantage.

hrmm lol i will try in qualify ..if u tp in to scout with long range good chance in 1-2 scout is dead lol but will only work against low skilled hahha

i think we have had a thread back then about "play this tactic" or "face this challenge" something like that
tinky had 3* bonefire tinker & made it ^^
(cuz you waste 2 more slots than using ice)

That's a really good idea, for new player and for old too. I usually play mid and this could be very intersting to improve myself with some good replays ! Thanks for that

We all know how annoying 3 longranged helis at mid can be. This is one way to punish them

well counter a tinker with ice isnt that difficult.
but how to counter a pro tinker with torpedo or scout with bombs

The only thing i don't like is that u both started with Scout + Bombarding.
