Raider Ultimate not counting damage - griffin1987 - 2013-11-29
Last game I randomed raider and it seems that the damage taken isn't counted most of the time - is the description incomplete or this really a bug? I've attached a replay where you can see how the number stays at 0 while my life goes down, and also porting back (didn't trigger the port back) does no damage.

I know this is quite late, but I took a look now. Unfortunately, you can't see the damage number in the replay at all. So I had to use other means to see if it is working. I was looking out for the explosion effect when you port back, it's only played when you actually deal damage and I have seen it most of the time. Sometimes I missed it and in others I think you ported back yourself.
Since I guess you don't know too much about this game anymore, I'll ask this: was it a one-time thing or did this happen again? Does it occur often or rarely?

I use Raider often and I haven't seen this bug yet.
What I have noticed is that you NEED about 40 mana to cancel your ultimate.
I don't think this should be the case. I believe it is a bug.
Or if it is working as intended, it is designed poorly.

Well, as it says in the tooltip, you need 15 mana to cancel the ultimate. And as far as I have seen, this works as it should.

It actually happens quite a bit, but it might just be the counter not counting the damage and the aoe radius being smaller than expected. I've been playing raider more often recently due to random

After a noticing Raider's ult not working in a few games of mine I decided to test it on single player to figure out what is going on.
I tested it 3 times and it worked every time.
Then I tested it 3 times with the Ricochet skill active and I found that the results varied.
The first time it didn't add any damage. (The damage counter was not going up.)
The second time it "seemed" to work.
In the third test the damage counter only went up when Ricochet had ended.
I am very sure the Ricochet skill is what is making Raider's ult bugged.
If you are a player I would suggest not to use this skill when you ult.
I would also ask for this to be fixed in the next version.

Good catch psycodiver, that was actually the cause. I've fixed it now, thanks for the help everyone!
