New item idea: Titanium Hull - psycodiver - 2014-01-10
Cost: 8000g for 8000 HP.
Upgrade cost 4000g for 4000 bonus HP, for a total of 12k HP.
The cost fits the cost of the other hulls in the game.
The scaling fits the scaling of the other hulls in the game; iron 1500, steel; 3000, gold 6000...
I would like to see this item to have a recipe to give it damage reduction like Negator Pack does. I think 25% damage reduction seems reasonable.
I am not too sure of the recipe.
I think this hull is a good idea because it will provide a counter-balance to the top tier weapons. This item is like a top-tier hull.
As the game is, Negator Pack is like the top tier hull. Which doesn't seem right as it is made out of Steel Hull.

This seem to be a good idea, I like it.
And I agree with you that negator is now top tier hull and still made out with middle hull?? Maybe this item should get less damage reduction but that's another topic.

No wait, the cost doesn't currently follow the same ratios as the hulls before it.
It's cost would have to be:
Titanium Hull; 10, 000g
and to upgrade it 4,000g
For a total cost of 14k.

armor requirement? to avoid starter tanks getting a titanium hull instead of better tank. 13 would be fine i guess, same as goliath

I don't think it would need an armor requirement. None of the other hulls have an armor requirement and also its high cost would make it hard to get near the start of the game.

I'd rather have endgame support items. There are already so many endgame options that benefit your own survivability, but very little aimed to support allies/the whole team. There are a couple of early-/midgame support items, but they all don't do much late-/endgame.
Also negator needs a small nerf in my opinion.
