Community Split - Icono - 2010-05-01
I heard it said that it's too difficult to balance different modes of gameplay simultainously. Therefore I propose a split of the community so that fans of HB can balance it take in the direction it was meant to go. Hopefully the current coders will consider releasing the code to a trusted coder before tanks fades away completly to SC2.

there had been enough chances to talk about hb and how its features can be introduced in a balanced way back to the map. we won't check any dicussions for this topic anymore, so just drop it. also there won't be any release of the code of bt.

Not exactly true, the DevTeam never really talked with the community about finding a solution to these problems. A list of imbalances were made to justify the removal of HB, but the ideas/solutions HBers proposed were left - to a large extent, alone to collect dust.

Btanks and war3 will fade anyway after the SC2 comes out. Split the community will make the btanks fading faster.

but just for HB lovers Anna bot is still hosting HB to fix your needs.
for the rest i like Pro mode, league mode and specially the 10K Bots to fix my Rambo needs :lol:

same stuff i'm still playing SC1 all those stacked tower defense games, they might be old, but they are still fun, so even if i get SC2 i'll still be playing WC3 until BT has been ported over to SC2
is too addictive to quit.
