Game Mode will not change pls help - Userkiller - 2010-03-21

Hello All


I have a Problem with 8.68 vesion...........

i try to play

Code:
* 5k - 5k start gold (Alternative)
* cv - conquest victory mode (Alternative)
* no - no options mode * (No Alternative)
* pr - "pro" mode (no Tinker/Trader/Exploder, 3k, Alternative)

Game Modes but that will not work.

Ever when Game start it starts automatic in Normal Mode...............okay no problem i go to my BTanks8.68 mapconfig file and type there

Code:
map_defaulthcl = cr

i start Ghostone and type in Game Lobby .hcl cr and Bot answers The HCL string is [CR)

okay now i think i can play CR mode i start Game and then again Normal Mode?!

Why is that so?

Edit:

It is possible that all players can begin " Vote" which mode anyway i try only play 8.68 in other mode as no and that will not work :twisted:

are you the one hosting nesan? that one has CR i think, it's 10k mode

Looks like you've got some spaces after the "cr". Try removing them.

And maybe post a ghost log of the part where you enter the hcl command and start the game.

Already saw a similar problem on somebodys bot. Afaik this isn't a map problem. You may also test if it work's on another map.

And remember: ghost needs per hcl charater a player (human/computer) to encode, in that case you need at least two players.
