New Hotkeys - xplodingtinkftw - 2009-11-11
I feel that the game play and micromanagement aspect of btanks can be made better if we introduce some new hot keys. Some specific ones I had in mind were for the ruins by each cp (so hotkeys for barricade, rocket tower, laser tower), I also would like to add hot keys for commandos and mortar teams (the ones where you can buy from the cp).
One other request that I would like to see implemented is to have the numpad hot keys for the inventory be routed to different letters,
e.g................ old (numpad)......new (letter)
item slot 1........1.................... z
item slot 2........2.................... x
etc...
While the numpad hotkeys do work they can only be used by your right hand which is rather inconvenient as most people use their right hand to control the mouse. I'm not sure how easy or difficult it would be to implement these changes but I feel it would allow for better game play and reflexes etc...

It's not possible to map inventory numpad to letters without using a third party tool

Binding inventory to hotkeys could get you banned, though.
