Reverse nets - Ring- - 2009-10-27
Just an idea I had. What if there was a reverse net item. So instead of pulling an air tank down it could lift ground tanks up. You could call it an Anti-gravity device. This would be useful if you have a lot of AA guns. It could also be used as a way to stun ground tanks, in the same way nets stun air tanks. I know that having another way to stun might be too much, but it would use up an inventory slot, and while in the air, ground attacks and axes won't hurt the tank, so it kinda balances it out.
What do you guys think?

2. Can the Sky Fortress pull a reverse netted player over immovable terrain?

Please don't. It has no synergy with it's skills and the ability makes the anti grav so much more useful. You could maybe replace plasma waves but even then nobody would get it unless it is inherently overpowered.

i think there should just be a item you should be able to buy because if you can buy nets to take down grounds that any tank can purchase then we should make a item that any air tanks can use to lift ground tanks up its only fair that away but i imagine this item would be used to much.

If so, it needs to be significantly worse than the standard net, either by having a low cast range, a short duration or more expensive.
The net is strictly necessary to catch longrange aircraft that hide in areas that ground tanks cannot reach, a ground only net? Not so necessary.
I would prefer it to be a tank ability, and not an item.

It sounds cool, but it doesn't seem like that ability would be useful until the mid-late game, when players have the gold to access better air/ground specific weapons. Maybe it'll be better for a tank priced around 6,000-8,000?
