Letting Laser Towers Survive
#1
Force does not return 100% of money they make from kills. Some is lost as it is divvied up between the players on the team. Therefore, the more troops that Force kills, the less money is made by the team overall. Also less experience.

So, I was thinking that when we have a strong push with map control, we should not first kill the opponents' laser towers. We should kill the cannon towers, so that our creeps die on the laser towers and the players get less kills. Then we worry about taking all the CPs on the map. While we try to take CPs, they defend CPs, and more of our creeps die on their laser towers. Only after controlling CPs then we kill their laser towers and try to wreck their base.

TL;DR It sucks to have your laser tower stealing team kills because team loses money and exp. It might be worth sometimes delaying killing opponents' laser towers.

Thoughts?

If you want more insight on how really bad the gold is distributed to the players AND is being reduced in addition, you should read through this old topic.

Who gets how much Force Gold

Same things goes for tank kills, each player does get 7% of the killed tanks gold. Afaik the gold distribution system hasn't changed in 2 years, but according to changelogs I don't see a sign of the force gold system being changed at all. Only tank bounties are changed.
