Closing the High Bounty discussion (last words..)

Hey Folks,

looks like we have to clarify some things again.

Reasons why we have removed HB.
  • HB was imbalanced (ok, i know, some of you dont accept this reason, so read on)
  • (mainly) on azeroth, HBplayers thought hb is the "pro" mode and insulted normal-players as noobs
  • new bt-players who joined HB-games were deterred when an imba hb-tank just ran over them
  • we had to break down BT to one basic mode again, HB was never meant to be an alternative mode beneath normal
  • if you're good in HB, that doent mean that you're good in normal mode too, because of this clans had no chance to find new members in hb games.
  • if you want to play a normal game on bnet, you have to wait very long - if you ask ppl joining and leaving your game, they say "i want to play pro mode" (means hb)
  • there are a few more reasons...

HB in the future:
  • there will be no new HB-mode, we've introduced two new modes, beginner and alternative, in alternative you have more gold because of higher bountys but in an balanced way.
  • we still try to make the normal mode better for hb-players, means making it faster and give it more action.


two more important things depending HB in future:
  • we will close all topics related to HB from now on, there were enough time to tell us what you want and give feedback how to make the normal mode better (for you). but most of the hb-posts were spam or flaming..
  • at least. yes, we just dont want only-hb-players in this community. so if you really only want to play HB and dont like the normal mode, search for another map, maybe battleships is nice for you (no idea, never played it)

  • Offensive Factories become weaker due to the lower armor upgrades.
