i haven't read all of your comments but i see there is many topics whit HB arguing so i suggest making something like special edition whit HB every 10 versions or 5 or something (i think it will be hard work for mappers but this way everyone will be happy and i really don't care if HB is going to return because i host my games and i chose the mod and i don't have any problems....)
oh and i know this should be in suggestions forum but i post it here to stop this bull shit from continuing

well... as told many times before... only by getting good inputs, we may develop a new mode as a replacement for hb... but as you may guess... the motivation to do so is at the bottom just now, seeing no one really like to see some fast paced mode again and just want to flame here all they can, instead of giving the informations we may need for it.
if you, guest, really want to see a mode like hb again, just start putting your energy in thoughts of the new mode in a balanced way, instead of wasting your and our time in discussing something that is long time gone now. just now, this was my subjective opinion, meant to be offensive.
hb in itself will not return!

we've asked many times for input regarding hb and how to make the normal mode as "cool" as HB in a balanced way.. we already shortend the game about 15min (in average) and still trying to make it a bit shorter and "faster".
@Team: please do not approve more posts from "guest" now.. im quiet sure that he is drake, and he will never give up faming how awesome hb was and how stupid we are.. that was the reason why he got banned.
@guest: if you really want to discuss about hb with us (in a normal, not flaming, way), then register a new account and open up a topic in general discussion or feedback, this guest forum wasnt meant to be a discussion-plattform.

as usual, the admins and editors are trying to force someone to do what they want...theres a guest forum, but if they want you to they will stop you from posting there and force you to create an account if you wish to speak...whats the point of the guest forum?

Very well, you are entitled to your privacy. You are free to express your views, privately if you insist, about HB, possible improvements to the mode, and any counter-argument mentioned for removing it. You will NOT be banned for this - you have my word on it... If there was any intention to do away with you, your library's computer IP would have been block a while ago.
Ilpallazo gave me his word, i am entitled to my privacy expressing my views, and that i wlll not be banned for this...Why am i being blocked now from expressing my opinion?

You said it yourself, most players here didn't play HB too often. It's for this reason the Mappers are asking for suggestions and constructive input on how to implement changes to make it more balanced and keep the aspects HBers find it enjoyable... You don't have to give your ideas if you don't want to. They never said they were doing you a favor by taking away HB and seeking an alternative instead. It is their goal to make the game more balanced, and to provide a basis which makes it easier to add things and change (it's easier to balance one game than two modes with completely different mechanics, correct?).

Correct me if im wrong, but it was stated many times from the map editors that they were happy to drive away players who did not conform to their view points. In this case players who enjoyed HB were automatically labeled as players who abused the imbalances of HB and than claimed that Btanks would be better off without these people. How is this not a purpose of driving away players?

this is threatening and leveraging behavior and implying that the editors are doing us a favor.
you claimed that you wanted to make HB better as one of your excuses for getting rid of it. Why would your motivation change because a few people flame you? So now that people flame you, its ok for you to stop working on an alternative?

Okay, let's get this straight. The Mappers did not want the HB community to piss off as their ultimate goal. Their goal is to make one uniform mode that everyone would like to play – for fun and competitively. You can accuse them of saying they were trying to make players play normal more often, but at the same time were striving to make normal more to HBers crowds liking.
Why do they feel this is necessary? – Because they wanted to have a game that was balanced and can be played competitively by all… If there are two modes, as qweqqewq says, each with “a different balance,” how the hell could you achieve this? Every time you added one thing to one mode in a balanced fashion you’d end up screwing up the second mode. So the goal was to bring the community together, to play a mode that would be enjoyed and played by everyone. A mode a little bit like HB and a little bit like normal – balanced and playable by all.
Now why would they need to remove HB so abruptly? I don’t know – personally I think it was a bad and premature move. You’re right – it’s a kick in the face and the fact that people from the general public had little say before the decision was made probably left a considerable part of the community bitter (half, minority, majority – doesn’t matter, as the HB crowd is considerably large). It fucked up the whole information gathering process, leaving the DevTeam few ideas and opinions to extract from the HB-half of the community. Rather than figuring out how Battle Tanks could be improved, the WHOLE discussion was about whether they should remove HB or not. Instead of figuring out how to they could bring the community together, they effectively push a good deal of it apart before everything was figured out... The funny thing is – if they removed it when such information/suggestion were taken in and the changes made, most people probably wouldn’t give two shits about whether the mode was there or not. It'd just be another obscure fun mode like 30k Tinker.
Now why the hell would people want to help when they feel like something has been stolen away from them? You’re right - most probably don’t, but in the end both the mappers and the players lose out. That said, I’ll say it again – if you don’t want to help and give your input on to improve the game to your liking that’s completely fine – you’re certainly not the only one ticked about the way things went down. But know this – that Paladon’s and Velocity’s intentions were not made out of malice – even IF some of the people around here make it come off that way.

Actually I think this isnt achievable. There are lot of ppl, some like TD, some like Hero Defense, some like DotA, etc... same is with modes.. you will never have a mode everyone likes.
On the other side of course we need one general mode everyone agrees with to be the normal mode as it is essencial for a balanced league.

this is so beyond obvious that im ashamed someone had to point this out. There is and never will be one mode that EVERYONE likes, the idea is stupid and insulting at best. It was perfectly ok for there to be MANY modes that many different people wanted to play. All GREAT maps have MANY INTERESTING MODES TO CHOOSE FROM.
LET ME YELL THIS FROM THE TOP OF MY LUNGS,
YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN REMOVING MODES FROM THE MAP YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADDING MORE MODES
That was part of the interest of the map, having many modes to choose from, and it just happened that 5K HB turned out to be the most enjoyable mode for me and ALOT of other players.

and youre not the first person to say that. ive seen the map editors often say "we want to make a mode enjoyable for EVERYONE" as an excuse for removing HB
its a poor excuse for saying that the reason they were removing HB and replacing it with an alternative is because they (the map editors) did not enjoy it.
