how about armor hull?

I was thinking yesterday - there aren't any armor upgrades for tanks (Earth Robot does not count) there could be a hull like +6 armor +9 and +12 - they could cost like normal hulls 1250 2500 5000 and upgrades too.
there can be a pack for Gold hull(upgraded) and Gold armor(upgraded) - Massive fortes (i'm not good with naming) - + 6000hp and + 18 armor.
Or there could be armor like batteries?

plz remember that armor only protects you from creeps so it wont be used very often expect it would be too overpowerd. if you want a better protection against creeps just buy earthrobo (or heavy tank!)

I thought it protects from weapons too :o

All tank weapons and abilities are spell-based.

but some of those skills create units, which can deal less damge from armour.

The more expensive tanks already get pretty decent armour- I don't see a need for additional armour packs that can be added to any tank.

Remember, we already have many creep-only weapons, which could be considered to fill the role of armour boosting items (why take less damage, when you can just kill the units instead?)
