Ok chumps, who wants to write their own pro (or noob) guide? No need for fancy editing and rainbows, create your own guide on the Battle Tanks wiki; it is very simple.
0] Create an account on the Wiki, prefably using your forum username.
1] To create a new page, replace "/Main Page" (or whatever page youre on) to "/MyName's Super Duper Cool Guide Or Whatever" (once set, you cant change url except by moving the content)
2] It is a blank page so click on "edit this page."
3] Start writing your guide
If youre new to wiki formatting, here are some tips:
- Use preview to check for errors and spelling
- == XX == is a (section) heading and === XX === is a subheading, you only need subheadings if it is fairly short
- In wiki format, starting a new line (i.e. pressing enter key) will leave the second line connected to the first line, to get a space between you have to leave an actual line spacing or use bullet points-
- Use bullet points by typing * star and each additional star gives it another level, play around and use preview often to see
I have a quick-written template for a guide, put your username first then the name of the guide e.g. "Dr.McNinja's 777 Guide". Punctuation DOES matter, lowercase and uppercase are considered different and you cant change the url once you 'created it'
