-lai and -afkai

Today I played a game where one of my teammate gone -afkai for a long time so i had to kick him. There was -lai but he didnt become an AI but was left as if he was an AI. Shouldn't he become an AI first? I think this must be changed.

If you are saying he was still in -afkai mode after being kicked with -lai on then that could be a bug. -afkai doesnt buy new stuff, only upgrades, is that what you mean?

He wrote -afkai and AI took over his tank (and yes it was not buying anything, thats why i had to kick him.). After I kicked him, he did not become an AI though it was -lai. I think he should become an AI first because of -lai. But he just left as if it was not -lai and gave us money instead.
I think because of -afkai he was assumed to be an AI. But in fact it cant be counted as AI, because AI can buy items but -afkai just play your tank..
