Buying factories...
Early ingame isn't worth it. The individual player who forks out a good $2500 doesn't really get any benefits himself.
How about making the spawned units belong to the player so that he receives a bit of cash if his units kill anything. Also these units shouldn't give bounty. And perhaps shouldn't add to the player's food total?

Doesn't factories cost 2000?
Well It would been nice if the factories has spawned 2 marines like the factory posts. But would the marines be controlled by the player? or the force? 2 marines does cost 2 food so if the owner of the factory control the marine, He could just stop them and build an small army, so if so, trigger should check the players food to prevent the fab to spawn marines and using over 40 food.
Perhaps increase to 2500 if you allow marine spawning or 3000?

I think the factory is good as it is. They already spawn two Marines (and they belong to the force) and they give no bounty.
It's not designed to be useful in early game.

Wow it does already spawn marines? Never noticed it! It's only used when our team almost defeated the enemy, and then it's so much marines it's very hard to notice it spawns marines. I didn't know that

That 3 team limit freaks me out. 1 noob on our team prevented us from making fab in enemy base to finish them, cuz he created 3 fabs at middle.

Maybe add a upgrade feature, so the fab may produce (500+) 2 commanders or (400+) 2 zeppelins instead of 2 weak marines? I dunno if they are so much stronger :?

i think DOGG1 has something here. if one were to buy a factory the creeps should belong to him. as it has been said, 2 marines dont do much and have no bounty. how about enabling the marines to be ur food and being stronger than the creeps earning u gold as u go.. so the 2000 gold u spent is actually worth it. this way there are more ways of making tatics rather than the same old tatics that have been played out.
recap. enable factories to spawn 3 marines instead of just two, counted in ur food and earn money for u.

yes, isnt bad, but then i have to disable spawn if there are already too much units owned by the player in the game, ill probably do that..
btw, the 3 factory limit was added because creeps got stuck and caused ultra lagg...
