Net & axe launcher

Axe launcher it is intended for use only against land tanks. But for the reason that the net duration 3 seconds it is possible to use effectively against air. Result - axe launcher (and bobs too) the cheap super-power universal weapon. Any other guns can't compete to them. What for are necessary flak and aa gun? It is necessary to reduce duration of a net till 1,5 seconds

1. Nets do not always work for good air players. They can keep enough distance and tp away when they see the a net has launched. So the gound tank just spend 200gold for nothing. Even if the air tank got caught, if the ground tank cannot kill it within 3 sec with axe, the axe has no use anymore and the air tank can then choose to tp to run or do whatever to kill the ground tank.

2. Axe is a good weapon, but definitely not "the cheap super-power universal weapon". There are many ways to defeat players who has massive axes.

3. Flak is good against air tanks, especially when the other team has more than 3 air tanks (like fortess in the late game). And the flak can change to axe after changing to a ground tank.

AA gun is weak I agree. For 6k gold I'd rather buy poison + net against air tank. Maybe the mappers can think about to improve AA gun. (There was thread for AA gun if I remember correctly)

For 3 seconds axe launcher + spells will kill any. Goblin tank will finish even earlier.

axe is like 500dmg/half sec. In 3 sec, it costs 3000 dmg. Plus Gobo's stun + ulti say it costs about 4k dmg. (gobo + axe is 14.5k gold)

An air ship + updated gold hull has more hit poits than this. (air ship + updated gold hull is 12k gold)

There will be still a short period gobo can easily kill air ship considering the other weapons, but after the air ship change to a bigger tank, the gobo + axe has no advantage anymore.

Yes, air ship has to buy weapon.

But the gobo also has to buy weapon. You cannot start with a tier1 tank and directly go up to gobo, and then save 8k for axe.

Net and Axe are not over powered. It largely depends on the players how to use it.

Even if the tank with axe launcher won't kill the air tank, it will put it considerable damages. In mass fights the net can be at several players that transforms axe into completely universal gun. AA gun and flak won't help against ground anything and never.
In general, I try to tell that flak and axe launcher at the equal price aren't equivalent. It is unfair. The net is necessary only that used vs air antiground spells, instead of for attack antiground weapon.
It is necessary to reduce duration net to 1,5 s.

1. You can't creep with axe launcher
2. You can't destroy buildings with axe launcher
3. Axe launcher has less range than electro cannon for example
...

Jep, those are just facts. As well as every other property of the axe launcher you might mention. Falls in the same category as poison: If you know how to play against it, you can easily win. If you don't know, you will get farmed.

And it's the same with everything in the game, so perhaps a more reasonable question is: Why is there no float net? Something that would make a ground tank float and unable to move, so you would have the same kind of netting ability for air against ground - wouldn't that also solve the things you described?

1. In crowd enemy creeps this advantage
2. In fights near enemy constructions (a barricade on a control point or base storm) this advantage
3. Divide damage / gold. A distance - not the big problem if you can hold the opponent on a place 3s.
Analog of a net for ground tanks... Game to turn to a farce.

Seriously, it's not that big an advantage, in some cases it might be. Everything can be countered.

Axe and net are not inbalanced. It is important to be able to kick ass on greedy Air Ships.
